The Works with Windows Server 2008 Logo program is the only way to illustrate that your Windows Server based product is fully compatible with the latest iteration of Microsoft’s Windows Server platform.  While many products will seamlessly make the transition from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008, it is imperative that Microsoft’s rigorous certification process is followed.  Newly created products will also need to be comprehensively tested to earn the coveted Works with Windows Server 2008 Logo.

Testing with nResult will reveal which category your product fits into:

  • No Changes Required: Product passes certification as-is.
  • Compatibility / Elevation Layer Required: Product will pass verification with modification to its running environment.
  • Code Changes Required:  Code changes to the product are required.

In addition to traditional compatibility testing, Microsoft requires that any kernel-mode drivers running on Windows Server 2008 be Windows Hardware Quality Lab (WHQL) Certified.  This certification (e.g. driver signing) is pivotal in the Works with Windows Server 2008 Logo certification.  In order to provide a single certification solution, nResult is able to provide companion WHQL testing services to compliment Works with Windows Server 2008 Logo certification.

By offering a collection of Testing Services, nResult can verify that your product meets the currently published Works with Windows Server 2008 Logo Certification Standards. As these standards evolve, nResult will follow suit and provide the most up-to-date testing possible.
